GHB (gamma hydroxybutyrate) is a central nervous system depressant. This means it slows down the messages travelling between the brain and the body. It usually comes as a colourless and odourless salty tasting liquid.

It sometimes comes as a blue liquid and rarely in tablet or powder form. GHB is usually taken orally, either in liquid or powder form. It is both odorless and colorless and has a salty taste.

How GHB works?
Effects of GHB may be felt after about 5-15 minutes and more strongly after 20-30 minutes with a peak of one hour. Effects can last for up to 2-4 hours.
At low doses, GHB produces a high or euphoric feeling and a loss of inhibitions. As dosage increases depressants begin to affect the parts of the brain controlling the body’s automatic processes such as heartbeat and breathing.
A large dose of GHB may result in involuntary muscle contractions and spasms (seizure-like movements), confusion, memory loss, vomiting, irregular or depressed breathing and a coma.
Combining GHB with other drugs such as alcohol can result in nausea, loss of muscle control and difficulty breathing. GHB may also produce withdrawal effects, including insomnia, anxiety, tremors, and sweating.
In 1990, the FDA declared the drug illegal and unsafe to use unless approved by the agency and strictly administered as physician protocol.
As the dose increases, the sedative effects may result in sleep and eventual coma or death. Other effects include difficulty thinking, hallucinations, slurred speech, headaches and amnesia.
GHB has reportedly been used in cases of date rape. Because GHB is odorless and tasteless, it can be slipped into someone’s drink without detection.

Who invented Wordle?
Wordle was created by Welsh-born Josh Wardle, a former employee at social news website Reddit. The software engineer first came up with the game in 2013, creating a prototype for his friends to play. But they didn’t take to it and he retired it. Josh revisited the game again during the pandemic and after proving popular with family members, he decided to take it public.
Though Josh invented the game he no longer owns Wordle. A very famous company bought the rights to the game in early 2022.
How much was Wordle sold for?
The New York Times bought Wordle from Josh Wardle in February 2022.Though an exact figure wasn’t shared, Wordle sold the game for a price “in the low seven figures”. The creator shared news of the deal on his Twitter account.
The New York Times confirmed the sale. And shared that Wordle will join their online Games portfolio:

Will Wordle no longer be free?
No, Wordle will continue to be available to play for free when it moves to The New York Times. This has both been confirmed in statements by the newspaper and game creator Josh Wardle.
Wordle players were initially worried that a fee to play Wordle would happen. This is because in order to play The New York Times games you have to be a paid subscriber.
“At the time it moves to The New York Times, Wordle will be free to play for new and existing players, and no changes will be made to its gameplay,” confirmed the paper in a press release.
Josh also re-iterated that Wordle will remain “free for everyone”. He added that he was also working with the company to keep the wins and streaks preserved.

AN-225, chiếc máy bay vận tải lớn nhất thế giới với cái tên Mriya (Giấc mơ) là niềm tự hào của Ukraine. Toàn bộ chiều dài 84 m của nó được sơn màu xanh vàng, tạo thành lá quốc kỳ Ukraine hùng vĩ trên bầu trời. Mỗi lần nó hạ cánh và cất cánh ở đâu, báo chí đều thông báo trước để dân chúng ra chiêm ngưỡng con chim sắt khổng lồ.
AN-225 được sản xuất tại nhà máy Antonov ở Kiew từ cuối 1988, nhưng cho đến nay chưa máy bay nào phá được kỷ lục 250 tấn hàng hóa và 640 tấn tổng trọng của nó (hàng hóa + máy bay + nhiên liệu). Máy bay lớn nhất của Airbus là A380 chỉ dài có 73m và chỉ chở đươc 150 tấn. Ngay cả đứa em nhỏ AN-124 của AN-225 (tên là Ruslan) với 150 tấn hàng hóa cũng đã hơn hẳn 134 tấn của Boeing 747-8F.

Điều khôi hài là các máy bay AN-124 và AN- 225 vốn được Liên Xô thiết kế trong cuộc chạy đua vũ trang với Mỹ và phương tây, nhằm chuyên chở các khí tài quân sự và phi thuyền vũ trụ Buran, nay là phương tiện được Mỹ và NATO ưa thích nhất mỗi khi phải vận chuyển trực thăng và xe tăng sang các chiến trường xa.
Antonov AN-124 và AN-225 được ưa chuộng và vô địch không chỉ vì kích thước và tải trọng, mà còn vì các ưu điểm: Cánh cửa và khoang chứa rất cao, trong khi sàn rất thấp, khiến việc nạp các khí tài lớn như máy bay trực thăng hay tàu hỏa rất đơn giản. Hơn thế nữa là chúng không kén đường băng vì được thiết kế để đáp xuống các sân bay tạm bợ như ở Afghanistan. Trong vụ khủng hoảng Covid-19, phi cơ Antonov đã chuyên chở hàng ngàn tấn thuốc men, trang bị y tế đến các sân bay của châu Phi chậm phát triển.
AN-225 ra đời vào lúc Liên Xô đang khủng hoảng rồi sụp đổ nên không có chiếc thứ hai. Hiện nay chỉ có một cái thân thứ hai hoàn chỉnh đã nằm kho từ hàng chục năm nay. Hãng Antonov rất muốn sản xuất chiếc thứ hai, nhưng thiếu vốn. Chỉ riêng việc sửa chữa lại chiếc Mriya bị phá hủy hôm rồi đã mất khoảng 3 tỷ USD.
Chiếc thân thứ hai của AN-225 vẫn để kho suốt mấy chục năm qua
Năm 2016 hãng công nghiệp hàng không Trung Quốc (Aviation Industry Corporation of China, AVIC) và tập đoàn Antonov ký thỏa thuận chuyển giao công nghệ để hoàn thiện chiếc thứ hai này.
Mục tiêu AVIC đặt ra là 2019 sẽ xuất xưởng, nhưng cho đến nay cái thân AN-225 vẫn nằm phủ bụi ở Kiew. Điều này cho thấy tiền bạc không phải lúc nào cũng rút ngắn được khoảng cách công nghệ và bí quyết (Know How). Những gì Airbus, Boeing, Martin Lookheed không làm được thì AVIC còn lâu mới với tới.
Liên Xô đã sụp đổ 31 năm, nhưng công nghệ hàng không vũ trụ của nó để lại vẫn dẫn đầu thiên hạ. Cho đến nay những cái tên Mikoyan (MIG)), Sukhoy (SU), Tubolev (TU), ILyushin (IL) hay Antonov (AN) vẫn là các cây đại thụ của hàng không thế giới.

Oleg Antonov là một công dân xô-viết mẫu mực. Ông sinh ra ở Nga năm 1906, có vợ người Armenia là bà Elizaveta Shahkhatuni. Từ năm 1946 ông sống và làm việc ở Ukraine. Tổ hợp công nghiệp mang tên ông ở Kiew là nơi sản xuất ra các thế hệ máy bay vận tải với ký hiệu AN, từ AN-2 cho đến AN-225.
Thiết kế AN-225 do ông khởi xướng. Nhưng 4 năm sau khi ông mất, chiếc Mriya mới ra đời.
Oleg Antonov là một công dân Xô-viết dũng cảm, tôn trọng sự thật. Năm 1965 Antonov đã công khai lên tiếng bảo vệ Ivan Dziuba. Nhà khoa học Ukraine này bị thanh trừng vì phê phán chính sách “Nga hóa” các dân tộc khác ở Liên Xô. Dù là người Nga, Antonov luôn bảo vệ sự bình đẳng giữa các dân tộc trong liên bang.
Antonov coi Ukraine là quê hương thứ hai. Thi hài của ông chôn tại nghĩa trang Kiew-Baikove. Ukraine coi Antonov là một công dân lớn. Tên ông được đặt cho đường phố, trường học, sân bay ở đây. Người ta lập ra bảo tàng Antonov ở Kiew. Chân dung ông được in trên tem ở Nga và Ukraine chính là sự gắn bó truyền thống giữa hai dân tộc.
Truyền thống này được tiếp tục sau khi Liên Xô sụp đổ. Hãng Antonov Kiew tiếp tục sản xuất các loại máy bay vận tải AN, trong đó có 12 chiếc AN-124 cho hãng hàng không Wolga-Dniepr của Nga. Hãng hàng không Antonov-Airlines của Ukraine có 7 chiếc AN 124 và một chiếc AN-225. Tất cả chúng đều được bảo hành tại 2 nơi: Sân bay Gostomel Kiew và xưởng của Wolga-Dniepr ở Leipzig (Đức). Đến trước ngày Putin phát động chiến tranh, hai hãng này vẫn hữu hảo với nhau. Nếu tổ hợp Antonov ở Kiew bị phá hủy, hoạt động của các máy bay vận tải AN trên toàn cầu sẽ chấm dứt vì không có ai bảo dưỡng nữa.
Khi quân Nga tràn qua biên giới rạng sáng 24.02, phiên bản quý hiếm AN-225 đang nằm ở sân bay Gostomel, cách Kiew 20km về phía bắc. Vài giờ sau xe tăng Nga áp đảo lực lượng Ukraine ở đây và chiếm được sân bay. Nhưng ngay đêm hôm đó quân Ukraine phản công chiếm lại được. Cả hai bên đều tránh phá hủy chiếc AN- 225. Đối với Ukraine, đó là bảo vật quốc gia. Nga cũng mong chiếm được con chim khủng cho ngành vận tải của họ. Không quân Nga đủ sức đưa AN-225 bay về Nga, nhưng tình thế không cho phép.
Những ngày sau, quân Nga tìm mọi cách chiếm lại sân bay Gostomel để làm căn cứ đổ quân và vũ khí vào Ukraine. Có ý kiến cho rằng: Kháng cự kiên cường của chủ nhà đã khiến quân xâm lược phải ném bom hủy diệt sân bay, từ bỏ ý đồ “bắt sống” Antonov-225.
Khi đưa tin này hôm 27.02, ngoại trưởng Dmytro Kuleba nói: Nga có thể phá hủy máy bay “Giấc mơ” của chúng tôi, nhưng họ sẽ không bao giờ phá hủy được giấc mơ của chúng tôi về một nhà nước châu Âu, hùng mạnh, tự do và dân chủ. Chúng tôi sẽ thắng”. (This was the world’s largest aircraft, AN-225 ‘Mriya’ (‘Dream’ in Ukrainian). Russia may have destroyed our ‘Mriya’. But they will never be able to destroy our dream of a strong, free and democratic European state. We shall prevail!)

Phía Nga cũng đổ lỗi cho Ukraine phá hủy Mryia. Ukraine đã mở hồ sơ điều tra tội ác chiến tranh. Dù chưa khẳng định được thủ phạm vụ phá hủy kiệt tác hàng không này, nhưng rõ ràng cuộc chiến do Putin phát động đã phá hủy giấc mơ của Oleg Antonov.

FYI là viết tắt của từ “For your information”, có thể dịch sang tiếng Việt là “Thông tin dành cho bạn” hay “Thông tin để bạn biết”.
Cụm từ này xuất hiện nhiều nhất trong email, nằm ở dòng chủ đề đầu tiên khi chuyển tiếp tin nhắn để nhắc người nhận đây là thông tin quan trọng mà họ cần biết.
Bên cạnh đó, FYI cũng xuất hiện trong các tờ rơi, phiếu điều tra sức khỏe hay tin nhắn chuyển tiếp với ý nghĩa cung cấp thông tin hữu ích dành cho người đọc.

Cách sử dụng FYI như thế nào?
